Amber is the fossilized, honeylike resin of a prehistoric tree.  While it was still flowing, it was so alluring to insects that they drowned while gorging themselves on it, and can now be found eternally engulfed in its glowing sweetness. I'm sure they have no regrets. Amber as a talisman imparts warmth, sweetness, healing, beauty, and abundance.
