This five weeks will cover the history of the Smith-Waite deck and the symbolism of the suits and major arcana cards! It’s an intro that will prepare you to learn spreads and other reading methods in the second course, which will open for enrollment in January 2025. The focus of the videos is to give you the historical and symbolic background to put the booklet aside and read with fluency. The tone and production value are casual and spontaneous, as if you were attending a live class. Live Q and As will be on Thursday evenings at 7 PM CT, beginning on January 8, 2025. The online group will always be available, just like a Facebook group but on our website. Any assignments will be submitted there. There will be a monthly tarot salon for course participants at The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop in Austin, if you are able to attend! We’ll coordinate the next one once we have a group.
