Some of these resins will be in chunks too large to burn on a charcoal disc.  This is a mark of their quality; renerally, the larger the original "tear" of a resin, the higher quality it is.  In this case, we recommend freezing the resin and then breaking it into usable pieces using a hammer or mortar and pestle.
